In my second year at Northumbria University we had the chance to work in a group to create a folly at Seaton Delaval Hall with the purpose of informing visitors about the site and also providing tickets for admissions. 

 

In this Project we had to create a 1:5 Scale sectional model which gave us better understanding of how the folly would be constructed in full scale. 

 

In this project I worked well within a team, I believe I took a leader role in the design aspects of the project yet I was also able to take direction in parts of the project where my peers felt they excelled.

As it is a National Trust site we used locally sourced larch in the folly design and tried to make the appearance as sensitive and subtle so it didnt look out of place.
