Macro (1.1)

The initial project given to me at University was 1.1 Macro, this project gave me chance to experience Newcastle as a city, it gave me chance to familiarise myself with the spaces and have a fresh view on the Architecture. 

 

The six serial visions were to describe the journey through a space and we were asked to use a media that we were comfortable with, I don't have an artsy background so I stuck to pencil and pen to try and develop and experiment with my skills. 

 

The Group map was to be non-traditional, my group chose to concentrate on the individual buildings which locals and also tourists use to navigate their way around the city rather than to use the existing map. This also gave us chance to use some modelling skills and also to be creative with the route.

 

The required outputs for this project were : 6 x hand drawn/ painted serial visions and a non-traditional built/ collaged/ mixed media group map.
